Adults (Aged 16 years and older only): Monday to Friday mornings only

Outline of examination

Examination by a doctor, blood test, urine test, stool test, chest X-ray, eye sight test, audiometry, drug screening and vaccinations, tuberculin skin test etc.

Time required

2 ~ 5 hours (It depends on the tests and vaccinations which you take)

Items to bring

• Document form and information
  (Please notify if there is no particular document at the time of an appointment)

• Passport
  *Cannot take an examination without a passport

• Any records of vaccinations, or mother-and-child health handbook (Boshi-techo)

• Spectacles (Contact lens users should bring their case)

• Japanese Health Insurance Card（if you have）
  *Health checkups are not covered by insurance

• Current medication information

Please note

• ・

  Women should not attend the examination during menstruation.

• ・

  You can have breakfast before you come (but please avoid sugar, milk, and dairy products). However, you cannot eat breakfast, if fasting blood test is designated.

• ・

  Please bring your guardian if you are under 18 years old.

• ・

  If your departure date is close, please let us know when you make an appointment.

• ・

  Some applicant documents are to be completed before the medical examination.

• ・

  Please come in separate top and bottom clothing that is easy to take off and put on.

• ・

  Please wear a mask when entering the hospital.

• ・

  Please do not wear colored contacts as we will take your face photo.

Results

About 10days~2weeks
(It depends on the tests and vaccinations which you take) provided that tests show no abnormalities.
